We Have over 10 Years Experience in the Furniture Industry

CUDFM’s core services consist of upholstering and reupholstering of vehicle seats, office furniture, residential furniture and marine vessel seats. Furniture making and repairs is being done on a very small scale because of limited space. CUDFM offers quality workmanship, competitive prices, and quick turnaround times.

Due to the high demand for ‘custom made’ and refurbished furniture, added to the need to separate the joinery from the upholstering function, it has become absolutely necessary to increase the size of the facilities. The Johnsons have therefore decided to lease land at the Long Point industrial site and to construct workshop facilities to accommodate the delivery of both services. The construction period is expected to last for about two months. During this time business operations will continue at the current location.

The local marketplace has proven to be very receptive to upholstery services and there continues to be a growing interest in remodelling businesses and the furniture therein. Further, with the increased number of boating services being provided, there has been an increase in requests for reupholstering the seats for these vessels.

CUDFM’s superb talent, dedication, and commitment to customer service has created a niche that is growing beyond St Kitts and Nevis, as a result the business continues to grow.

An innovative approach

CUDFM was created out of a love for innovative designs in the furniture-making and repairing. The initial idea was crafted in 2013 by Mrs. Shermel Johnson, then brought to fruition in 2014 as part of the SIDF Seed Programme. Meet Our Professional Team

Mr. Gregory Johnson, who has formal education in carpentry is the Operations Manager, Master Upholsterer. He has six (6) years of experience in upholstering and reupholstering. Mr Johnson is assisted by his wife Mrs Shermel Johnson who is responsible for all administrative matters. She has 22 years in public service and supervisory management.
